Here's the premise:

OF ROYAL BLOOD

Some rules are meant to be broken.

In a world where magik means death, Katriana Stark will risk everything to save her royal charge—even when it means revealing herself as a witch and losing the love of the forbidden prince.

As tutor to the princess, Kat’s place at court means she’s close to death every day—one misstep, one mistake, one magik mishap away from the wrath of the dark queen. And one unveiled look away from disclosing her feelings for Prince Ethan as well.

Kat’s not much better at hiding her magik than hiding her feelings. But when demonic forces strike the Royal Palace, and bodies start disappearing into thin air, Kat’s uncontrollable powers are all that can save the lives at stake.

And as Kat is forced to pay the ultimate price for her deception, she must decide if saving another’s life is worth sacrificing her own. And worth giving up a once in a lifetime love…

FLING Boxset releases TOMORROW!!!

Ready for more great news?

Now finally news number three.... drumroll if you please.... I have another book releasing... TOMORROW! That's right. No, it's not from the Fire & Ice Faerie Song Trilogy, and I promise book three is rolling along towards "The End" very nicely.

This story is special because it's the first time I'm participating in boxset, with 6 other talented authors! The boxset is called FLING and my story is Entangled Summer. So what you have to look forward to is an introduction to each of the authors in the boxset, and a little bit of info about their stories. Oooh, and did I mention the price for the boxset is a-ma-zing!? I mean seriously, so worth the tiny investment. It's only available for kindle at the moment, but more formats will follow soon. And Entangled Summer will be released in paperback for those of you who love holding something in your hands.

Keep an eye out this week, as I bring you each of he amazing authors from the FLING boxset and introduce you to their compelling and entertaining stories! And in the meantime, take a peak at Entangled Summer.

It's a New Adult (ages 17+) Urban Fantasy Romance. Perfect for summer reading by the pool or at the beach.

I'd love to know what you think. And make sure to treat yourself to the FLING Boxset. (#NewAdultFling)  It's another summer Must Read! Until next time, happy reading! :)

Booksigning Fun!

I am thrilled and so grateful to report that my very first bookstore book signing was a HUGE success. I mean, according to Chapters Indigo Bookstore, it is unprecedented for an independently published author to completely sell out of books... within the first hour of a signing! Crazy! I felt a strange mix of regret for those who didn't get a copy and delight that they all sold and so quickly. Just as well it was busy, what with being located so dangerously close to the Starbucks and all. ;) But I barely had time to sip the White Mocha Latte my darling hubby bought for me.

Of course for me the exciting part was meeting all of the wonderful people who came by! So grateful to all of my readers, old and new, and I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to connect with everyone!!!

Thank you all for helping to make this event so much FUN!!!

Until next time, enjoy the photos!!!

Paperback Cowgirl Reviews by Miss Laurie Williams: Blog Tour Review & Giveaway

Nothing warms the heart and soothes the soul like a kind word. So, please permit me one more opportunity to share another fabulous review of Fire & Ice. There have been so many of them lately that it takes the sting out of the very few unfavorable reviews, rendering them nearly non-existent.

And now I'm off to conquer my flu bug with some hot chicken noodle soup, a warm blanket, a box of tissues and my laptop. If there's any other feel-better remedy you know of that I've forgotten, please do let me know!

Have an awesome day everyone!

Here's a sneak peak at Laurie Williams's review:

My Thoughts:

I know the plot seems intense and maybe far fetched BUT I promise all the characters and their magic will pull you in and make you believe the impossible.  Fire & Ice is a delightful mixture of healing powers, love, secrecy, legends and so much more!  If you love Fae and fantasy this is a MUST read for you!!! Enjoy!!
